Who are we?

We are Ecological Landscapes.

A landscape company created by bringing together a team of professionals, with the aim of designing and building beautiful gardens and open spaces that have a reduced impact on the environment, and where possible enhancing the local environment.

Based Based in Hampshire and working through the South,

Our team includes designers, landscapers, traditional build tradesmen, horticulturalists, ecologists, and suppliers that have come together to start to change the practices currently used in landscaping.

Designers

Our designers have a passion for positive environmental impact, creating an outdoor space that is not only pleasing to see, but also with an understanding of what materials would be benecial, desireable and suitable to reduce any negative impact as much as possible.

Landscapers

Our team of landscape gardeners understand how to use the variety of materials availbe to create more ecologically friendly spaces. With decades worth of experince between them, there isn’t a challenge that they haven’t risen too yet!

Traditional build craftsmen

Having learnt that sometimes the older ways are far less harmful to the environment, we have a team of traditionally skilled craftsmen, understanding how to use tradtional materials like lime mortar, dry stone & int walling, thatching, willow work…

Horticulturalists

Our designers and some of our landscapers have a wide knowledge of plants and horticultural techniques, enabling us to maximise on plant selection for greater visual and positive environmental impact.

Ecologists

Knowing that to get the best from any outdoor space we often need to encourage fauna as well as ora, so we have a team of ecologists that can advise on how to encourage more wildlife diversity within small gardens to large open spaces. Also, how to protect and maintin existing protected plants and wildlife.

Suppliers

With the many years of experence our teams have gained within their specic elds, we have developed working relationships with local and national suppliers, enabling us to source all the plants and materials needed to create a beautiful garden and enticing open space.

Designing and creating gardens and outside spaces that not only encourage a wider diversity of flora and fauna, but by also using materials that have a lower negative environmental impact locally, nationally and globally, adjusting installation practices and making tree planting donations to The Woodland Trust to further reduce the overall negative impact that will inevitably be created, increasing the tree planting donations to offset CO2 impacts, when lower impact options are not suitable.
